Following the reception, a Vespers service with the blessing of the five loaves (<em>Artoklasia<\/em>) was celebrated in the church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His Grace Bishop Sylvester, with the team accompanying him, all gathered at the spiritual lecture, were greeted on behalf of His Eminence <a href=\"https:\/\/orthodoxiapost.com\/index.php\/2025\/10\/24\/mayor-of-teslic-hosted-bishop-sylvester-of-uganda\/\">Metropolitan Photios<\/a> by the Archpriest of Br\u010dko, the Very Reverend Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Miodrag To\u0161i\u0107, who warmly welcomed the distinguished guest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lecture of His Grace Bishop Sylvester aimed to acquaint the faithful with the state of Orthodox Christianity in Africa, as the Bishop noted, \u201cwith a particular emphasis on Orthodox Christians living in sub-Saharan Africa.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The gathering also had a humanitarian character, as a monetary contribution was collected to support scholarships for students and to further assist the ongoing missionary work of the Orthodox Church in Jinja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The visit of Bishop Sylvester stands as an expression of brotherly love between the Orthodox faithful of Uganda and those of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eparhijazt.com\/\">Diocese of Zvornik-Tuzla<\/a>, as well as a continuation of cooperation and support for the Orthodox Christians of Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n<div
