Orthodox Youth Association of Ghana represented at the Global Freedom Network Conference in Accra

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, with the blessing of our Father and Shepherd, His Eminence Metropolitan Archbishop Daniel, a delegation from the Orthodox Youth Organization of Ghana participated in the « Faith in Action Against Modern Slavery Conference », held at the Kempinski Hotel, Accra, and organized by the Global Freedom Network.

The delegation was led by Archimandrite Aidesios Mukeke Mabedi, Secretary of the Holy Metropolis, and included the Interim General Secretary of the Orthodox Youth Organization, Mr. Panteleimon Nyina, and the Interim General Organizer, Mr. Samuel Otoo, Paa Kwesi, representing the youth of the Metropolis with faith and dedication.

The conference, marking the tenth (10th) anniversary of the Global Freedom Network, sought to raise awareness and strengthen collaboration in the ongoing fight against modern slavery.

In her welcome address, Miss Franca Pellegrini, Head of the Global Freedom Network, reflected on the decade-long impact of the Network and its mission to uphold human dignity through faith-driven action.

The Orthodox Youth Organization of Ghana expresses profound gratitude to our Spiritual Father, His Eminence Metropolitan Archbishop Daniel, for his continued guidance and blessing, enabling the youth to bear witness to Christ through action and advocacy.
