With the paternal blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Daniel of the Orthodox Archdiocese of Accra, Ghana, on Friday, October 24th, 2025, a pastoral visit was conducted in parishes and educational institutions in the region of Accra and its surroundings.

The Archimandrite Aidesios, the Protopresbyter Irineos, and the young faithful Panteleimon and Samuel first visited the village of Teacher Mantey, approximately one and a half hours from Accra, in order to assess the progress of the Parish of Saint Tryphon and the Archdiocesan School “Orthodox Professional College.”

The priests spoke to the children of the school about the Orthodox Church and distributed holy icons and blessings.

At the Church of Saint Tryphon, which was built in 2005 with the support of the Missionary Association “Saint Cosmas of Aitolos” in Thessaloniki, the Service of the Lesser Blessing of the Waters was celebrated, with the participation of Orthodox faithful.

The delegation then travelled to the area of Adeiso, to the Church of Saint George, where they inspected the ongoing renovation works.

Finally, the missionary visit concluded in the village of Dwaha, where the delegation met with the parish priest of the Nativity of the Lord Church, Fr. John Arthur, and members of the local Orthodox community.

During the meeting, spiritual encouragement was offered for a renewed commitment to the liturgical life of the Church, for strengthening unity among the faithful, and for continued dedication to the work of God.
