With the blessing of His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of Romania, at the invitation of His Eminence Teofan, Metropolitan of Moldavia and Bucovina, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Nairobi, Kenya, has arrived in Romania today, October 28, ahead of a thirteen-day visit to the country.
Archbishop Makarios arrived this afternoon at Iași Airport, accompanied by Archimandrite Athanasios Wambui from Nairobi, and was welcomed by Bishop Damaschinos, Assistant Bishop of the Archdiocese of Suceava, Fr. Chrysostomos Rădășanu from the Archdiocese of Iași, and Mr. Silviu Andrei Vlădăreanu, who will accompany His Eminence during his entire journey throughout Romania.
